About

Who We Are

Wroughton Youth Football Club (WYFC) is an established organisation with over 300 children aged 5 to 18, from Wroughton and the surrounding area, playing football across 26 teams. We are a thriving and enthusiastic group of FA affiliated managers and coaches offering football and football related activities to children of all abilities and backgrounds. The children’s welfare and enjoyment takes priority in all the decisions we make. We aim to provide a fun experience of football in a safe environment, where all players have the chance to flourish and enjoy their time with us.

We have strong links with the Wroughton Men’s Football team and have seen many of our youth players moving into adult football when they reach the age of 18. We are proud of our football heritage and were established in 1992.

WYFC is a charter standard club and is affiliated to the Wiltshire County FA and a member of the North Wiltshire Youth Football League, which is a charter standard league and the Wiltshire County Womens and Girls League. We have a club membership scheme for all players and take pride in being able to offer affordable activities to all.

We have a very good working relationship with Wroughton Junior School, the Ridgeway Leisure Centre, the Deanery, Wroughton Parish Council and hire the latter’s facilities at Maunsell Way and North Wroughton, .

Codes of Conduct

WYFC is a community of respect and we do not tolerate any diversion from the FA code of conduct.
